Hail storm response: past customers told by the next morning

Set up for your business, in your own accounts.

When hail hits overnight, it finds the past customers where the hail fell and texts and emails them by morning. Postcards go to the oldest roofs, and inspections are booked as the replies come in.

01The problem

Hail last night: which customers were hit?

Weather radar

Hail up to 1.75 inches falls on north Plano overnight. The system maps where it fell from radar data and finds the past customers inside it, oldest roofs first. From 8 am each one gets a text and an email with the storm date and a free inspection link, and inspections land in the calendar as they reply.

02How it works

One night, from hail report to booked inspections.

The storm, the past customers and the office each have a lane: who hears what, and when.

03What you get

What your business gets.

  • Past customers reached the morning after a storm

  • The storm date and hail size on record for each home

  • Inspections booked before the phone gets busy

  • Postcards only where the hail really fell

When it gets hard

  1. Small hail, no damage likely

Below the size the company sets, nothing goes out. Nobody gets an alarming message about pea-sized hail.

  2. A roof replaced last year

Recent roofs get a warranty check-in instead of an inspection offer.

  3. A customer heard from you last week

One message per storm at most, and none at all for anyone who asked not to be contacted.

  • We set it up in your own accounts, with your customer list, service area and wording. You approve every message, and the hail size that sets it off, before it goes live.

  • No. It only reaches your own past customers, with the real storm date, and only where hail really fell. Nobody gets a knock on the door.

  • From public NOAA storm reports and radar hail data, checked automatically through the night.

  • Usually, yes. We connect it to the email, text and postcard services you already use.
